The pack is growing

Dreamer was still waiting for more wolves wiling to come on the patrol."If we don't lay our border soon," She growled."Other packs may wander in and take our territory." Just as she finished speaking, she heard voices outside of camp. She dove into the shadows, just as four wolves entered. They looked around for a moment, with all the wolves staring at them. Then Dreamer slipped out from behind them.

"What business do you have here?" She asked, not stern, but not exactly friendly."Well," A tan she-wolf said thoughtfully."Is this a pack?" "Yes.." Dreamer's face twisted into a smile."Would you like to join us?" A smaller black and white wolf came forward."Of course!" He snorted."Do you have any idea how we've been living the past moon?" Dreamer frowned at his rudeness."Yes, I do." Her yellow eyes hardened, and the wolf stepped back. Dreamer, pretty as she was, could be very intimidating."I shall announce you then." Her wiry legs carried her swiftly to the SmoothRock.

Softening her eyes for the rest of the pack, Dreamer called them together."All those old enough to catch their own prey join beneath the SmoothRock for a pack meeting!" The wolfves came together, murmuring about the new arrivals."What are your names?" She asked the two older wolves."I'm Sola," The tan one spoke."And I'm Thunder." The black she-wolf finally spoke up."Then Sola and Thunder shall be fighters of Stormpack!" THe pack gathered around, then soon settled down to listen.

"And how about you two?" She looked the the younger ones. To Dreamers relief, a white she-wolf stepped forward."I'm Quicksilver, and that's Streak." In that case. You will both be Trainees. Quicksilver, I shall be your mentor. Streak," Dreamer scanned the clearing."Your mentor shall be Pine." The all touched noses, and Dreamer headed to the entrance."Come, Shadow. You, Quicksilver and I shall lay down the borders."

Many new wolves!

(Daniee, I need you to make another wolf before i officially add Kate.)

All those at least old enough to be a trainee gather under the SmoothRock for a pack meeting!" She howled loudly. It was her new method of gathering her pack together."We have many, many new wolves with us!" She flashed a stunning smile."This proves that Stormpack will grow to be fierce and strong!" Every wolf cheered, including the new ones."First, I have found a wolf that should be Beta! Please welcome Hakota!"

They all smiled and nudged the male wolf happily."We then have found a wolf with a talent for healing. However, she is blind, ad she relies on hearing and smell. Please welcome Spirit!" They all crowded around the white she-wolf with congratulations. Once they settled down, Dreamer continued."We also have new fighters! Please welcome Echo, Pine, and Katara!" Even more cheers rose up as the fighters were surrounded.

What a friendly pack. Dreamer smiled widely. We have a new trainee as well! Her name is Star, and she will be mentored by Maya." The two she-wolves touched noses."At last, but certainly not least, we have our first mother! Her name is Luna, and she is expecting pups." Dreamer left out what Luna had told her about her mate, but the pack didn't seem to notice."I would like Ranger to show the new arrivals around, and then I want Hakoda to make a hunting patrol. Also, I will take out a patrols to lay down our official borders. Dismissed!" Dreamer leaped down."Who would like to come with me?"

Two new arrivals

Gazing happily over the pack-members, Dreamer breathed in the fresh, crisp air. She already had four new joiners, even if two if them were little pups. She allowed her two front paws to dangle off of the SmoothRock, and held her head high. The sun soaked into her fur, and she closed her yellow eyes. She looked rather noble. Another rustling caught her attention, and her ears swerved.

Two wolves padded cautiously into the camp. They stared around in awe, then caught site of other wolves. They turned to flee, but Dreamer was faster. She shot to the entrance."Excuse me." She said politely."What?" The male barked. Dreamer smiled kindly."Would you like to join our pack? You do know wolves do better in packs." The male looked thoughtful."Okay, fine."

Dreamer nodded and gracefully back onto the SmootRock. The other wolves emerged and gathered around the two wolves."What are your names?" Dreamer asked the two wolves."I'm Maya." The she-wolf said lightly."I'm Ranger." The male said slowly. Dreamer nodded."Ranger, you seem like a powerful tom. Would you like to be Head fighter?" Ranger brightened."Yes, I would like that." Dreamer smiled."Maya, you will be a warrior as well. Welcome to Stormpack!"

The other wolves praised the new arrivals. They both seemed happy enough, so Dreamer went to meet Feather and Rock.

First Wolves

(Reminder to Amber, please add another wolf.)

Dreamer sighed as she stood on a large boulder. It jutted out above the clearing, so it would be a perfect to call wolves for a meeting."I'll call it SmoothRock." She rubbed her paws against the smooth surface. Haku was flopped on the ground, letting his dark fur soak in the Spring sun. Dreamer laughed quietly to herself, then stealthily slunk to her friend. Light on her feet, she pounced right on his side, scaring him.

"Hey! Don't do that!" He yelled jokingly, and the two laughed together. They heard a rustling just outside of the entrance, and they froze. Dreamer felt her fur prickle up, but she let it back down. It could just be more joiners. She soothed herself and padded calmly to the entrance. A large black wolf burst in. To small pups dangled from his mouth, and he looked as if he were going to faint. Haku carefully took the pups from him."Take them to the Nursery." Dreamer smiled to her friend, then turned her attention to the wolf.

"Do you need help? Are you hungry?" Dreamer dragged a fish from the pile of prey that she and Haku had caught earlier. The wolf gratefully ate it until he was stronger."Are those your pups?" Dreamer asked him, glancing at the safe cave where they were put. The wolf nodded."My mate just wandered off. I needed to find a safe place for them." Dreamer stood up."Perfect! You can join our new pack!" The wolf smiled at her."That would be nice. Other wolves to help you out." Dreamer nodded and leaped onto the SmoothRock.

Just as she was about to speak, a young, pretty she-wolf stumbled through the entrance. She stared at each wolf, then turned tail to run."Wait!" Dreamer called after her, and she turned."What?" Dreamer looked at her for a moment. She looked about old enough to be a Trainee."Would you like to join our pack?" The wolf looked over Dreamer shoulders at the safe, sheltered camp."Sure," she said hesitantly. Dreamer smiled, and returned to the SmoothRock.

"Okay, so what are you and your pups names?" Dreamer asked the black wolf."My name is Shadow, and my pups are Feather and Rock." Dreamer nodded."Shadowm you will be a fighter of Stormpack. Your pups will be pups until they are old enough to train." He nodded, and went to sit by the nursery."And what's your name?" She looked at the she-wolf."I am Alado." SHe sadi bravely, locking her gaze with Dreamer's."Okay, Alado, you are a Trainee. Your mentor shall be my trusty friend Haku." Alado and Haku nodded.

Dreamer smiled with satisfaction."That will be all." She leaped down gracefully.

Introduction

Dreamer slowly scaled the mountains, her best friend Haku following slowly. They had finally found an end to the territory of those cats, who scratched at their weak legs. They hadn't had food in so long, Dreamer was afraid her slim body would break down. Suddenly, Haku's ears shot up, pointed to a large plain at the foot of the mountains. He quickly sprinted down and disappeared in the grass. As Dreamer feebly followed, Haku returned dragging a small doe.

"Nice catch!" Dreamer exclaimed. The two wolves plunged their muzzles into the deer, eating until they were full. Dreamer felt the energy creeping back into her limbs."Now that I'm full, I think I'll go catch something myself." She nodded to Haku and slipped back into the grass. As night came in, the plains became full with sounds and life. Dreamer's glowing eyes caught sight of a rabbit. To scrawny. She turned away and scanned longer. Soon, a nice big buck came into her view. She knew it would be a little hard since she was light, but she loved challenges.

Dreamer moved silently through the tall grass until she was right behind the buck. After making sure it couldn't tell she was there, she sprang out and clung to it's back. As she expected, the buck reared up in alarm. She dug her claws deeper as it ran in circles, and slowly advanced up it's back. She carefully raised a paw, and sliced at it's eyes. Dreamer quickly jumped off as the buck lost control and crashed to the ground. After making sure it was dead, she slowly followed her scent back to the resting point.

Haku smiled at her large buck."Cool, how hard was it?" Dreamer growled teasingly and laid the buck down. They nibbled on a little of it, then settled down. They huddled together to protect each other from the bitter cold.

~~~
As the sun rose, Dreamer blinked open her stunning yellow eyes. Haku soon yawned after she had risen. They both ate the rest of the buck, and wandered through the plains."This place is rich with spring prey, perhaps we could live her. Plus, it's away from those horrid cats." Haku nodded in agreement. Soon, they passed through a forest, that seemed dark even in the broad daylight. They then trudged through a chilly river, that made Dreamer's thin legs shake with cold.
At about sun-high, the two friends found a deep dip in the land. There where many holes along the edges, that looked like dens. Full of excitement, Dreamer zipped into the hollow with Haku on her heels. She ran in circles, and realized it would make a perfect camp."We could form a pack!" She exclaimed to Haku."Wolves always stand a better chance with a pack! What should we call it?" Haku thought for a moment."How about Stormpack? Storms are fierce, we could be the fiercest pack of all!" Dreamer jumped happily."Perfect! I'll be Dreamer, Leader of Stormpack!" Haku laughed."I'll just be a fighter, thanks."
Dreamer smiled and nudged her friend."We will be a success!"
